Communication Tool Now Available for Public Use!

The PCORI-funded Interact Trial engaged patients with communication disabilities to compare the effectiveness of two interventions to increase primary care clinicians’ use of communication strategies, improving the quality of their communication with patients with communication disabilities (CD).

For the intervention, the research team developed a communication tool that patients with CD can use with their clinicians. At the conclusion of the project, the research team developed a free, publicly available version of the electronic tool. A PDF version of the tool is also available here.
